Town of Eastham Hosts Summer Kickoff & Ice Cream Social at T-Time (June 14, 2022)
The Town of Eastham invites community members of all ages to attend a Summer Kickoff & Ice Cream Social event on Saturday, June 25 from 12 PM to 3 PM at the Town-owned T-Time property (4790 State Highway, Eastham). Attendees will enjoy free ice cream, courtesy of the Ice Cream Café (while supplies last), as well as old-fashioned field day games, face painting, music, and an 80s-themed costume contest. First Public Workshop Scheduled for North Eastham Master Plan (May 4, 2022)
The Town of Eastham announces the first in a series of three public meetings on the North Eastham Village Center Master Plan. The event will take place on Wednesday, May 11 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Eastham Public Library (190 Samoset Rd). All are welcome to attend this first public meeting, learn more about the project, and provide input to help guide preliminary design options, which will be presented at a second meeting in June. T-Time Temporary Improvements Project Continues (April 29, 2022)
Work is ongoing through the T-Time Temporary Site Improvements project, funded through a MassDOT "Shared Streets & Spaces" Grant, and an additional donation of public art and volunteer support from the Cape Cod & Islands Association of REALTORS. Improvements were chosen strategically to satisfy a number of short- and long-term goals that align directly with both the North Eastham Master Plan efforts, and the Town of Eastham Strategic Plan. All work on the T-Time site through this project is temporary in nature, and is intended to make the property usable to the public while long-term planning continues through the North Eastham Master Plan process. Union Studio Selected to Create North Eastham Master Plan (February 25, 2022)
The Town of Eastham is pleased to announce the selection of Union Studio Architecture & Community Design to create a Master Plan for three Town-owned properties in North Eastham: 4790 State Highway Route 6 (known as the “T-Time Property”), 4550 State Highway Route 6 (Town Center Plaza property), and 1405 Nauset Rd (site of the current Council on Aging). The “North Eastham Village Center Master Plan” will include conceptual designs for the use of each property, as well as a comprehensive plan showing how the three sites tie into the larger community. T-Time Committee Presents Final Recommendations (December 3, 2021)
The T-Time Development Committee presented its final recommendations to the Eastham Select Board Monday, December 6 at 5:30 PM. Presentation slides and the full recommendations report can be viewed via the T-Time Docs page of this site. This presentation marks the end of Phase I of the T-Time Committee process, which began with the Select Board's appointment of the committee in November of 2019. Both the committee and Town staff wish to thank the Eastham community for participating and providing extensive input over the last two years.

At the T-Time Committee meeting on August 17, 2021, the committee completed their draft recommendations for use and development of the T-Time property, and provided considerations for use of the Town Center Plaza and current COA properties. Town Awarded Grant to Support Temporary Recreation Use of T-Time (July 2021)
The Town of Eastham has been awarded a grant of $29,800 through the MassDOT Shared Streets and Spaces Program to make a series of improvements at the Town-owned "T-Time" site. The "T-Time Placemaking Project" will create opportunities for expanded public access and recreational use of the vacant 11-acre site through the addition of a walking/biking trail; resurfacing of a former tennis court area for all-ages recreational programming; and placement of picnic tables, bike racks, and directional signs for area businesses and attractions. Expected timeline for this project to be completed is approximately 9 months to 1 year.

Results are in from the T-Time Community Input Survey! More than 2,200 responses were received for the survey, which was open from March 15 through April 20, 2021.
